But to start out, I am going to post what I am all about. I am a photographer. I will graduate from the Art Institute of Colorado in September, and I will follow my dream of becoming a traveling ski photographer. I also will pursue other outlets of the photography business with my general portfolio which contains everything from fine art to portraiture, to food and architecture. I want to do it all! I am inspired by it all, so why not.
So, here is my website: http://jackboyd.carbonmade.com/
-And here are some of my videos, starting with my final project for Digital Storytelling-
Important Questions with Josh Bishop from Jack Boyd on Vimeo.
-Here is a short improvisational video i shot on a borrowed Canon 7D. I was hanging out and then assisting at a photo shoot that my classmates had drawn numbers to shoot at. Our goofy professor, Dave Neligh, often brings in some of his colleagues to talk to upper division classes. His longtime makeup artist and stylist Sedrique Olison, who has worked on everyone from the Broncos' cheerleaders to Barack Obama, came in and offered to do a collaborative photoshoot with another friend of our professor, Miejhan Mock- a international supermodel. The shoot was a bit crazy, there were 6 photographers, 4 sets, 4 wardrobe changes and 3 makeup changes. We drew numbers in class to see who would shoot and i did not win, but i did go to assist. When i saw that a friend was borrowing a 7D i asked if i could shoot a card's worth of data. This is what i got. I really want this camera now!

-and lastly, here is another project i did for Digital Storytelling. I was under the gun after my previous ideas had fallen through, when i remembered being inspired by Cookie Time at Beaver Creek. If you don't know, they give out free, fresh baked cookies at the base of the mountain at 3:00 everyday. I shot this in a day, and edited it in a weekend.

So that's the start. This should be interesting, keep following, i promise to keep this fresh with content!
